Our consultants are involved in many activities related to the writing, rewriting, proofreading and editing of Web site content and a wide range of documents, including reports, descriptive texts, documentation of projects and technical applications, user guides and technical specification manuals. Alika provides translation services, parallel reading and editing of translated texts, from English to French, for Government departments as well as the private sector. We translate a wide variety of documents such as: Government of Canada, GOL and private sector Web sites; correspondence; communication; reports; analysis; marketing material; briefing notes; studies; agendas; PowerPoint presentations; documentation and instruction manuals; and surveys. We are familiar with the GoC Official Languages Act as well as translation standards, and we strive to keep ourselves up-to-date with these standards. We are available to translate documents during regular business hours, evenings and week-ends. Many translations and writing projects that we have worked on had tight deadlines. Supply Arrangements / Contracting Vehicles Government On-Line (GOL) Standing Offer – Indian and Northern Affairs Canada Alika Internet Technologies has been awarded one of the two Standing Offer Agreements for the Lotus Notes/Domino Stream of the "Government On-Line: System Development Services – Standing Offer Agreement", at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada. This Standing Offer is for the provision of timely and quality Web system development services to the Department. The Standing Offer is valid until May 31, 2005. Alika Internet Technologies Inc. is currently providing nine resources on this standing offer. Government On-Line (GOL) Supply Arrangement Alika Internet Technologies Inc. holds a GOL Supply Arrangement, on the Informatics Professional Services (IPS) Stream. The Supply Arrangement is valid until December 2005. Supply Arrangement for Lotus Notes/Domino Professional Services Alika Internet Technologies Inc. holds a Supply Arrangement with Public Works and Government Services for the provision of specified functional and technical Lotus Notes/Domino Professional Services for 6 federal government departments and agencies. The Supply Arrangement is valid until March 2006. Supply Arrangement for Information Technology Technical Services – Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Alika won a Supply Arrangement in October 2004 with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) for the provision of Lotus Notes and Project Management Services. Supply Arrangement for Web Writing Services – Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Alika won a Supply Arrangement in August 2004 with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) for the provision of Web Writing Services. The Supply Arrangement is valid until August 2007. Supplier Registration Information (SRI) Alika Internet Technologies Inc. is registered in Contracts Canada's Supplier Registration Information service as a potential supplier to Government of Canada. Informatics Professional Services (IPS) Marketplace Alika Internet Technologies Inc. is registered in the Informatics Professional Services Marketplace. The IPS Marketplace is an inventory used by federal departments in the National Capital area to purchase informatics professional services.
