Elizabeth passed away on March 6th, 2004.

She was a kind and caring person and will be sadly missed. Elizabeth had a big heart and put others before herself. She was dedicated, loyal, and cared about the people and projects she was involved with.

Elizabeth Jetchick was an experienced bilingual senior content researcher. She had excellent management abilities combined with strong professional ethics. Her academic training included a Doctorate in Earth Sciences, a Masters in Physical Geography and a Bachelor Degree in Geography.

Her work experience included the supervision of all the content activities of "portal" projects; the identification of content gaps; the definition, analysis and creation of a table of contents for Internet sites; the classification of links within pre-defined categories; the content conception of new Web sites sections; and the development of research and content management standards.
